ISLAND MENS SELECTION
Congratulations to Jamie Brown and Andy Whiting's recent
selection for the Island Men's Squad due to travel to the UK
on the 10th/11th May.

NEW STRIP FOR 2008/09 SEASON
We will be
commemorating 25 years of success with a new strip for the
forthcoming hockey season (08/09).
Check it
out here.
The shirts
will be personalised with your surname and cherished numbers
can be ordered on a first come basis.
The order
must be placed mid June and therefore we will be organising
a selection of fitting times in June..... dates and times TBC.
Costs:

bespoke socks £20 * (subsidies by the Club)

All kit
orders to be paid for at the time of ordering.
We will also
be asking all members to register for the forthcoming
season and make provisions for their subs, at this time.

Yazoo National Mini Hockey Championships 2008 - North Finals - Belle Vue
Cronkbourne
Bacchanalians U13's boys travelled to Belle Vue in
Manchester to represent the IOM on the 27th April 2008 at
Belle Vue.
The
travelling squad were Matthew
Garrett (GK), Ben Chung (Captain), Edward Knight, Jack
Barker, Danny Kane, Fraser Dorling, Alex Bell, Alex Price,
Joshua Riordan, Daniel Connor with non travelling reserves
of Aaron Gardner, Cory Kirby, Juan Hunter.
The boys drew
against Liverpool Sefton but lost their other matches
against Chester HC, Sheffield HC and Yarm School. However they worked
well as a team and have gained a lot of experience from the
weekend.
The Bacchas
player of the tournament was Matthew Garrett in goals who
was outstanding throughout all the games.

Cronkbourne Bacchanalians 25 Anniversary Hockey Ball Friday 20th June at the Cushag Suite, Hilton Hotel & Casino - 7pm for 7:30 - Black Tie.
The meal

The cost will be £30 for
adults and £20 juniors -

and there are restricted numbers so they will be allocated
on a first come first served basis.

later than 6th June (Senior
race day) and
please note if we have your name then you
have to pay even if you dont turn up
