Bacchas Fitness Challenge for July – set by Coach Karl
This month’s theme is triathlon with a few extra bits to work on a bit of strength and other cardio activities
Exams are over so we will expect challenges from the Under 18s and hot favourites Sharon & Sue and not forgetting the group ‘WWP’ (Women with Prams) so lads we cant just rely on Greg & Nelly who I think may have peaked….
Aim Team – this month is Boys vs Girls Individual challenge to accumulate as many points from the different fitness challenges
Rules of the Challenge Honesty – you will only be cheating yourselves Can do anywhere so pack those trainers if you are going away Do as many of challenges as you want – same or all of them Not just restricted to club members if you want to get your Mum & Dad out with you……… Coach Karl’s decision is final
Weekly League Table Points accumulated to be submitted each Sunday for league table to be published so you how you are doing and who are your nearest challenges. Just complete the attached excel schedule every week I have included drop down boxes in the cells (in columns C &E) and set up formulas to work out the totals. If you haven’t got excel then just keep a suitable record and email….
Qualifying Period 1st July – 26th July – Points as per below to be returned by end of day 26th July …except for Tuesday fitness as points for this task & this task only start on 30th June.
*** no half measures to be counted ie if run/walk 4.5 miles you only get points for 4 miles
**** Health & Safety – keep hydrated all the time and don’t push yourself too hard early on – it’s a marathon not a sprint!!
1200 points is the individual score to beat
And remember ….. “Pain is just weakness leaving the body” and “I embrace pain and burn it as energy on my journey” Will consider bonus points for equally good quotes to compete with Greg’s above
