Cronkbourne Sport and Social Club (CSSC) aspires to be one of the Isle of Man's premier multi-sports clubs, comprising Cronkbourne Cricket Club, Bacchanalians Hockey Club and Gymnasiums Athletic Football Club. CSSC has both its own sports ground and clubhouse facility. Cricket and football are played at the club grounds at Tromode and hockey is played on the artificial pitches located around the Isle of Man. The Clubhouse is located at Tromode, Douglas and is open all year round.

Our Club ethos is that sport is a constituent part of a healthy community and as such all year round participation is very much part of our philosophy.

In all our sports we cooperate and work as much as possible with the relevant sport parent bodies, Manx sports agencies, as well as representatives of local government and the wider community as a whole.

We very much believe that youth participation lies at the heart of a healthy Club and this is why we continue to encourage and build vibrant youth sections across all three sports. Our attainment of quality status within our governing bodies means that these sections are run safely and in accordance with best practices. This is complemented by our continued efforts to train and educate our leaders and ensure all activities are run and supervised by suitably qualified coaches.

However as with many such clubs the world over this can only be achieved by the time energy and commitment of a dedicated band of volunteers, and are therefore always on the lookout for any parents, players, friends or enthusiasts who are willing to join us and devote some of their energies or resources, large or small, to help us continue in our quest.
