Cronkbourne Bacchas set the pace in Forrester 3

Hi all. once again another update from the “C” Bacchas Team. Faced against a strong Peel St John’s side, with conditions very murky at St Johns, the team were put in by the opposition. We batted really well, with the boys racking up an excellent 169/7 from our 20 overs. Notable performances from JC with a 64 at the top of the order, 22 from Daff Lewis and a quick fire 36 from our opening bowler Tom Evans to finish off the innings, including 4 4’s and a six in the space of 3 overs.

Hoping to improve on our bowling performance from last week, we managed to restrict the home team to 130/7 off 20 overs. notable performances from both the opening bowlers Tom Evans and Veebs, with figures of 1/20 and 2/17 respectively. W Ides didn’t do as well this week, but still was 2nd top scorer with 27 but were starting to keep him quiet! tom evans deserved man of the match!

next match against castletown at home next Monday. 2 out of 2! not bad for a bunch of hockey boys 🙂
