The unprecedented rainfall which was experienced over the summer and autumn has resulted in serious surface damage to the ground playing and adjacent areas. Water drainage which has been a gathering problem for some time has now become critical and action is being urgently sought from the various authorities to address the problem.

Other pictures of the damage caused can be seen on the Cricket Gallery page. http://www.cronkbourne.org.im/cricket-2/680-2/ground-drainage-problems-2013
As things stand the Whit hockey festival could be under threat and indeed the amount of standing water could constitute a general health and safety threat if it is not resolved.
The Committee would appreciate any assistance which members may be able to offer in connection with this issue.
